Tournament Schedule

Takedown at Twilight runs August 7, 8, and 9 at Sozo Sports. Evening start times keep the energy high — wrestlers ages 5–11 take the mat first, followed by the 12–18 session as the night deepens.


Weigh-ins for all ages will take begin on August 7 at 12:00 PM.

Sozo Sports is a premier multi-sport complex purpose-built for high-level competition. The facility features regulation wrestling mats, ample spectator seating, concessions, restrooms, and climate-controlled indoor arenas — everything families and competitors need for a full evening of tournament wrestling.

Ample parking is available on-site. Use the main entrance. Signs will direct teams and spectators to the tournament check-in area. Arrive at least 45 minutes before your session's start time to complete weigh-ins and warm-ups.

Competing at Twilight

Takedown at Twilight isn't just a tournament — it's a night-event experience. Sessions start in the late afternoon and run into the evening under full arena lighting, creating an atmosphere that feels more like a championship event than a weekend tournament. The energy in the building after dark is unlike anything most wrestlers have felt at a daytime meet.

For younger wrestlers competing in the 3:30 PM session, the evening start means a cooler venue, an energized crowd, and memories that last. For the 12–18 age group stepping onto the mat at 8:00 PM, it's the full twilight experience — spotlit, loud, and high-stakes.

Sozo Sports' indoor arena is purpose-lit for evening competition. Expect bright overhead mat lighting, a visible scoreboard, and space for families and coaches to cheer from the stands. This is the atmosphere the 1st Annual Takedown at Twilight was built to deliver.
